It was asked if we could do an urban session with a dancing flare! Well....I totally was excited to add some colour and interest. INTEREST....meeting the locals...good times:) In fact we met some very nice individuals.
This one had me laughing because after the shoot mom said that the traffic would slow down and strain to get a peek...maybe thinking a "star" would be behind the scenes. All fun!
Thanks for being so great mom and D. !
Enjoy!

Thanks for being so great! Congrats miss A. I wish you all the best in your future!

Ring Pop [Calgary child photographer]
Age Three
Not an easy age....
A photographer's son...no pictures today:)
A ringpop?
no...well...candy?...okay!!
A typical session with my son...
A typical "reward"...
Mom is so proud.
Lastly, I couldn't decide between colour or black and white...

Nula [Calgary child and pet photographer]
It's been a while since my last post. Our family has had just a "few" things happen this month....
One of the issues we have been dealing with for some time now has been the health of our beloved family dog. Nula has been in our family since before kids...12 years. Today we made the most difficult decision.....but the best choice for our dog. She is sadly missed and will always be remembered.
Given the circumstances we took this opportunity to cherish our last days and do a few family things with her. She has always been a camping dog so we were very thankful for the nice weather last weekend as we took her to the lake twice.
As for camping....she was a spoiled little girl...her bed was probably more comfy than mine.
Last night my daughters made Nula a dog cake out of soft dog food. They shaped it into a birthday cake and layered it with a turkey burger. The decorations consisted of dehydrated chicken dog treats! We videoed her last meal while we talked about the silly stories from over the years. After a full meal, we went to the studio and took some last pictures to remember her by. Even the cat cooperated.
